Details	This pilot study examines the extent to which learners' L2 vocabulary influences lexical diversity in academic writing, academic presentations (written for speaking), and academic discussions. This was done by investigating the relationship between students' (n=46) L2 vocabulary size as measured by the Webb, Sasao, and Ballance (2017) updated Vocabulary Levels Test (uVLT) and the lexical diversity of their texts across three production modes as measured by McCarthy (2005) Measure of Textual Lexical Diversity (MTLD).
