Details	Kyoto Sangyo University Faculty of International Relations. 2nd yr course Theory and Practice of Human Sciences: Based on IB, this course provides students with a broad liberal arts education. Building on foundations established in first year, this section of the Intensive IR program focuses on theory and practice of human sciences, including social science, with a focus on history. The course will involve lectures to explain key ideas concerning theories about knowing, weekly quizzes to test student's completion of homework, a range of student presentations of course content to stimulate active learning, group projects to develop co-operative problem-solving skills, small group discussions for students to engage in mutual teaching and constructive criticism.
