概要	京都産業大学　IR 1回生 On Knowledge and Knowing: Based on IB, this course introduces students to academic study in English. Firstly, covering issues relating to knowledge and knowing to encourage students to take a critical approach both to their studies and in their everyday lives, it goes on to investigate the manner of knowledge in the natural, human, and social sciences, providing a solid foundation for university academic skills. Active learning; discussion; debate; groupwork; presentations. Lectures explain key ideas; weekly quizzes test completion of homework; student presentations stimulate active learning; group projects develop co-operative problem-solving skills; small group discussions for mutual teaching and constructive criticism.
