Item Critical Pedagogy through the Model United Nations
Details I have been involved with the Model United Nations for quite a few years both at the High School level and University level. The Model United Nations is an excellent simulation for critical pedagogy, problem based learning and active learning. It enables students to first research a problem as a representative of their country (poverty related, sustainability related, conflict related etc.) and then actively represent their country in a diplomatic role in the Model United Nations simulation.
