Item	The Japan Foundation/ASEAN Heritage Tourism Research Project
Details	Following an initial project policy planning meeting in Kyoto in May, 2016, and thereafter a further meeting between personnel from partner universities from Kyoto, Penang, Chiang Mai, and Hanoi in Penang in June 2016, the Heritage Tourism Research Project was launched. The first round of activities were scheduled for August/September in three of the partner countries, with all teams visiting Kyoto in November for research, and again in March 2017 for a project symposium.
