Item Fun Halloween Cultural Learning Lesson
Details After the classroom is decorated in a "traditional" Halloween atmosphere (per NA culture), students are taught the origins of Halloween from their Irish roots and then allowed to have a discussion about what they think about Halloween and whether they have seen the images in Japan. Topics such as the cultural artifacts and images displayed such as the Jack-o'-lantern, cobwebs and other decorations. Students are invited to play traditional games such as bobbing for apples, Halloween word searches and candy is provided for quiz games.
