概要	Every week, students are encouraged to write a journal entry about the topic we discuss in class. They need to write about their thoughts and feelings on the topic, along with ideas to support these opinions. After a few weeks, I check the journals and provide some feedback on grammar, spelling or text structure, with some suggestions on how to support their ideas. This exercise proves to be very useful, since the evolution of the writing skills , especially on the quality of their supporting points, is evident to the teacher, but also to the students.
