概要	The business of tourist accommodation is obviously a huge source of revenue in Kyoto, and the numbers of visitors from abroad has been steadily increasing over the past decade. In this lecture, issues associated with the tourism business were addressed, with a special focus on the holiday rental marketplace and the changes that have taken place in terms of the rules and regulation of foreign visitor private accommodation. After the lecture, we went into town to tour an area popular with foreign visitors, and an inn in the center of Kyoto which is operated as specialty accommodation for foreign visitors.
