概要	Citing many facts and statistics, to say the demise of the US （quasi） hegemony is premature. It is a fact that it is declining relatively speaking and it is Trump 2.0 that is abetting this tread. The US is losing its soft power by its unilateral tariffs policies and seemingly isolationist tendencies. It is in a sense antagonizing its (former) allies, which is alarming. Japan should pursue its regional economic partnership programs such as CPTPP and RCEP, even without the US participation.
