Details	Las Letras means the world of literature in Spanish. But there is also a district called Las Letras in the center of Madrid. Many great Spanish writers lived in that neighborhood. Today, many of the streets are named after the writers. Take a tour of the Las Letras district while learning about the works of Spain's leading writers. Today, this district is a very high-class residential area, but it is said that by the 19th century it was outside the city. Most of the writers who lived there were poor and lived a bohemian lifestyle.
