概要	Worked in the field of hydrocarbon analyses with special reference to the carriage of hydrocarbons by sea. Advised law firms and Marine Insurance groups on shipping claims. Attended vessels and laboratories as a specialist advisor and expert witness in the Middle East and Europe. Managed a hydrocarbon laboratory for the company of TJ Gunner and Sons, Marine Surveyors and Consultants in Burgess Hill West Sussex. Involved in R&D and routine testing proceedures for crude oil, bunker fuels, aviation fuel, and heavy fuel oil.. Responsible for the laboratory being accredited for the NAMAS standard of testing for laboratories.The National Measurement Accreditation Service (NAMAS) is the United Kingdom (UK) national third party accreditation service for both calibration and testing laboratories.
