Details	As part of the Center for Latin American Studies at Kyoto University of Foreign Studies' activities, I organized and hosted a lecture by Professor Perig Pitrow (French National Center for Scientific Research, CNRS). Under the title “Sacrifice and Offerings in Mesoamerica: Collaboration Between Ethnohistory and Ethnology,“ Dr. Pitrou provided a comparative analysis of Mesoamerican rituals by bridging ethnohistorical documents with his own ethnographic research among the Mixe community in Oaxaca.
